Setting - Tips for adjustment

How to fit the appropriate depth angle using the installation support function.

In order to match the AIR area to the appropriate depth angle, we recommend using the installation support function.

01Set fixed output to “Disable”.

The door opens or closes according to the detection status of the sensor.

02Set installation mode to “ON”.

Areas other than the 1st row are deactivated, helping you to set the area position easily. The operation indicator is yellow during installation mode.

03Adjust the depth angle to the shallowest setting.

Make sure that the door continuously opens and closes.

04Slowly adjust the depth angle to deep until the door ceases continuous opening and closing.

05Set installation mode to “OFF”.

All detection areas are activated.

01Set fixed output to “Fixed detec. Status” or “Fixed non-detec. Status”.

The door remains open or closed regardless of the detection status of the sensor.

02Set installation mode to “ON”.

03Adjust the area depth with an INFRARED FINDER (available separately).

Adjust the depth angle to the deepest setting.

Set the INFRARED FINDER sensitivity to “H” (High) and place it on the floor as shown below.

Slowly adjust the depth angle to sharrow until the emitting area is in such a position that the INFRARED FINDER is in low detection status (Slow Red Blinking).

04Set installation mode to “OFF”.

All detection areas are activated.
