LED indication

LED does not light.

Incorrect power supply voltage (disconnection, or low voltage).

Correct supply voltage to 9.5 to 18 V DC.

Incorrect detection area.

Adjust the detection range and sensitivity.

Incorrect polarity to detector.

Switch positive and negative at terminal.

LED switch is OFF.

Turn on the Switch (LED automatically turns ON during warm-up and walk test even LED switch is OFF).

LED lights even though no person within area.

Moving object within area (passenger, car etc.).

Remove object from detection area or adjust the detection range and sensitivity.

Rapid temperature changes (heater, air-conditioner, etc.) within area.

Remove object from detection area or adjust the detection range and sensitivity.

Strong light hits detector's window (sunlight, car head light etc.).

Avoid them from hitting detector's window directly.

Possibly, better to change the direction.

Strong RFI nearby. Moving fan or motor of air-conditioning vents etc.

Switch electrical equipment off.

Detection outside intentional area (Passenger, Water pipe etc.).

Adjust the detection range and reduce sensitivity.

LED lights but signal is not sent.

Relay contact is stuck of damaged due to overloading.

Check load of output.

The unit needs repair or replacement.

Faulty wiring.

Wire correctly.

LED flicker.

Masking materials in front of lens.

Remove masking materials.
